Perinatal treatment is provided in a residential treatment setting and tailors treatment for pregnant and parenting mothers that are struggling with Substance Use Disorders (SUD). Women in this treatment setting have the flexibility of bringing their children (up to 5 years of age) with them into treatment in order to support the family with a number of real-world life skills such as parenting and coping skills, to name a few. Perinatal residential treatment length of stay varies depending on one’s level of functioning and unique needs but can range anywhere from two weeks to 3 months.
