Detox treatment is a higher intensity level of care where our staff members monitor you more frequently. Often times in order to start treatment our clients have to complete the detoxification process first, with a primary focus on helping you manage potential withdrawal symptoms that are present when using alcohol, benzodiazepines and/or opioids for a prolonged period of time. Our patients usually complete their detox stay in anywhere from 3 to 8 days, or longer, depending on their level of functioning, medical conditions and how well they are stabilizing. After detox is done and withdrawal risk is managed, patients can step down into a lower level of care such as Residential or Outpatient treatment, depending on factors such as their level of functioning, recovery supports and housing environment, to name a few.
