Sober Living Environments (SLEs) are a great resource for patients who need an affordable and drug & alcohol-free environment to help them succeed in their early recovery. In a structured SLE, patients are expected to engage in recovery-related activities in the community and participate in house meetings to ensure that all are doing their part to keep the SLE in order. Often times, when clients get their life back on track and start working again it could be a trigger to have money in their pocket without any accountability and support, so SLEs are a good solution where one could live with like-minded individuals who are pulling for a better life together.
