This documentary represents a significant milestone for Bi-Bett, as it places our mission and work on a national stage. Empowered Hosted by Meg Ryan highlights individuals and organizations making an impact in their communities, and we are honored to be featured as part of the conversation about recovery and hope. By showcasing the impact of our programs, facilities, alumni, and employees, this film allows us to reach far beyond our local community, offering encouragement to countless individuals and families who may be seeking a path forward.
Employees, alumni, community partners, and local dignitaries have been invited to the event. Guests will learn a little about the history of Bi-Bett, get a glimpse of behind-the-scenes footage, and hear from a special guest speaker who will share his personal story of recovery before the viewing of the episode itself.
The episode directly addresses the challenges of the disease of addiction and barriers to access and care, bringing awareness to this national crisis. Despite these challenges, an important message is that Substance Use Disorder (SUD) is highly treatable, and recovery is possible. The documentary highlights successful avenues of recovery for those who struggle with the disease, showcasing two of our facilities and some of our dedicated staff and alumni who have successfully gained healthy relationships with family and friends, and managed stability in building healthy boundaries, leading to incredible employment opportunities.
Since 1969, Bi-Bett has been successfully supporting those with drug and alcohol addiction issues through supportive treatment services. Over the years, thousands of men and women have found new hope through our programs. Our mission is to help individuals struggling with addiction by inspiring hope, empowering recovery, and building community.
As we celebrate this exciting achievement, we also look ahead to the future. National exposure allows us to further our mission, challenge stigma, and invite more people to be part of the solution.
