Bi-Bett has completed a major milestone in expanding access to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT): all five of our residential sites are now certified to deliver MAT on-site. This achievement was made possible by a state opioid response grant awarded last year, which allowed us to convert dedicated Incidental Medical Services (IMS) rooms, certify our staff and facilities, and begin welcoming new MAT clients this past April. Every one of our five residential sites has now delivered MAT services to at least one client, with plans to grow this into a regular part of care at each location. The real benefit for clients is that they can now receive MAT without being shuttled to a separate facility — allowing for a more connected, whole-person approach to their treatment instead of a disjointed one. We’re excited to keep building on this momentum.
