Bi-Bett, in partnership with Contra Costa Health Plan, has secured a new office space near Todos Santos Plaza in Concord to launch an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) — the appropriate next step of continuity of care for clients transitioning out of inpatient, residential treatment. The program will include at least one Spanish-speaking counselor, closing a long-standing gap for Spanish-speaking clients, particularly those coming from our Pueblos del Sol site. We’re very excited to be opening this program in an area that is underserved and very much in need.
Renovations and state licensing are underway now, with doors expected to open late this fall. In a tribute we’re especially pleased to make, the center will be named the Susan J. Cinelli Center for Addiction Treatment, in honor of the woman who served as Bi-Bett’s CEO for more than 40 years.
